"How much does it cost?" A donkey is £75 per day including all training. However this can be for up to four people per donkey.
"What do I wear?" The secret is to be comfortable. Shoes that are ideal for walking are recommended. Other than this it's up to you.
"Can I bring my dog or dogs?" No problem if the dog is well behaved.
"What happens if it rains?" We all know what the British weather can be like. It may be an idea to bring waterproofs although we do have limited supplies if required. We only cancel treks if the rain is torrential.
"What about accommodation?" A list of local hotels and guest houses are on this website. Field camping space is also available.
"How can I get to you from the local railway station or bus station?" No problem-we will collect you if you let us know in advance.
"Are the donkeys friendly and can I feed them?" They are very affectionate and loveable. If you want to feed them please bring carrots and apples.
"What about food on the trek?" You are welcome to bring your own picnic while we also pass a number of delightful country pubs on the treks.
"Is there a younger age limit for children?" Not really but we don't recommend the treks for children under five.
If accommodation is needed below is a selection of local hotels, bed and breakfast and self catering accommodation:
